It all began with Oskar at a very young age, his obsession and passion for cars was noticeable by anyone around him. Early before even having a driver’s license he already started detailing vehicles around his neighbourhood, not only that, but also developing skills that would later be the key for him to enter the business and entrepreneurship world.
His burning desire & passion was very noticeable to his parents and even to this day they can describe countless stories of him and cars.
Oskar was also very particular with every car he has owned his entire life up to this day, he started modifying his own vehicles at a very young age, there were never limits he couldn’t reach. Persistence and patiences were keys to make every vehicle look exactly as he wanted.
Oskar’s passions and enthusiasm for vehicles lead him all the way to the automotive industry, where he got his first official job, at an Audi dealership in Ontario as a detailer, he fell in love with the brand even further, and during those days the all new Audi R8 got released into the market and he got to drive one of the first ones in Canada. Oskar also got more training & experiences in the automotive world with Paint Correction, Polishing, Vehicle Wrapping, Ceramic Coating, in Canada and other countries such as Brazil where he met his wife Kalynka.

In 2017 Oskar decided to open up his own business and make his dream come true. He decided to leave his job and open up his first detail shop called OCD AUTO CARE, located in Orangeville, ON.
It was no surprise that he achieved incredible results and an ever growing clientele that loved every work he performed on their cars. Oskar was able to double the shop’s size and demand of work by three times more in the first year of business. He also had the privilege to work on some of the finest prestige vehicles around his area. The customers kept coming and Oskar couldn’t be more connected with his purpose and mission.

After three years, Oskar’s heart and passion for business kept growing, so he and his family decided to achieve one of their life goals, which was to move to the West side of the country, the beautiful British Columbia, and open up another state of art shop from the ground up. With a little three month baby (Ayrton, named after Ayrton Senna) and his wife Kalynka, they moved to a whole new province, the town of Kelowna.
As Oskar always says: “Wherever you go, success is within the person” he made from the ground up his second business GOLD COAST AUTOMOTIVE®. He envisioned a shop in the heart of Kelowna, bigger than the one in Ontario, providing services to all the Okanagan and surrounding areas. And as you believe, you shall receive. Oskar once again made another stunning shop from scratch in a whole new city and province.

Do you offer loaner cars or shuttle service?
We do offer complimentary shuttle services within the Kelowna & West Kelowna area, and we’re happy to arrange a rental service if you would need one.
Paint Correction also known as Buffing or Polishing is the highly skilled art of carefully removing damaged clear coat off the paint of a vehicle to expose a fresh, flawless layer of clear coat. Damaged clear coat diffracts light coming into your paint by sending it back in random directions, making your paint look less glossy or faded. When we expose a flawless layer of clear coat, this light is returned with full effect and your paint will look restored.
We ensure to use modern paint correction techniques and equipments with the art of safely removing clear coat. Also, devices such as electronic paint measure to ensure if it is even safe to correct the clear coat without shortening the life of the paint, using masking tape to armor all exterior plastics so they are not damaged in the process to ensure you get nothing but the best.
Exterior Detail is designed for regular maintenance, this regimen includes light surface decontamination, basic conditioning and is recommended on a monthly basis. Polish is designed to rejuvenate and protect, this regimen takes your daily driven to showroom-ready and is recommended bi-annually.
Yes. All of our PPF has Self-Healing technology.
Purchasing Paint Protection Film comes down to a few variables. Your budget, how much coverage you want, the condition and size of your vehicle, the brand of PPF you want. All of these factors are going to determine the cost.
In most cases, we recommend applying PPF over panel that is defect free and you get the best protection money can buy on day one. There is nothing wrong with applying PPF over paint defects, however, you will see slight air pockets around the defects (this includes areas with touch-up paint applied) and PPF will magnify the imperfections.
We offer various cosmetic repair options such as Paint Correction, Polishing, Touch Up Paint and can refer out to reputable body shops for any paint and body work. Think of applying screen protector on your cracked smart phone screen, you get the idea.
We chose to carry BODYFENCE by Hexis, that we think is the best and works well with BC weather. BODYFENCE is the clearest film in the market and exclusive at our shop only.
We highly recommend maintaining your paint after we have corrected it, it is important to learn the right way of washing your vehicle so the swirls do not reappear. We will teach you these methods, when you book one of our services. Keeping the paint sealant topped up will also aid in keeping your paint flawless.
Opti-Coat Ceramic Coating is a silicon carbide ceramic coating made for protecting paint. When applied on top of the factory clear coat it bonds to that factory coat and intensifies gloss, adding paint protection for the vehicle. While adding protection from and other substances. Opti-Coat Pro repels water and increases the gloss of the vehicle’s paint. It is not a wax or a sealant, it is a ceramic coating that provides superior protection for the long-term. Opti-Coat is much thicker than conventional waxes and does not have to be applied several times a year. It only requires one application and one of our professional installers will do the work for you.
